The Tuur® cotton duvet consists of two separate layers that you combine or use separately, depending on the season.
The summer layer is a light, breathable organic cotton duvet for fresh sleeping comfort during warmer nights.
The winter layer is a warm, insulating layer filled with organic sheep's wool for cold nights.
Together they create the ideal sleeping climate: airy in summer, cosy in winter, with natural materials that adapt to your body and environment.

The winter layer of the Tuur® duvet is filled with 100% GOTS-certified organic sheep’s wool.
This wool is naturally breathable and regulates temperature without overheating, keeping you comfortably warm without feeling heavy. The soft fibres gently envelop the body, providing the soothing warmth that makes a wool duvet so pleasant on cold nights.
Light and breathable: the cotton layer of this duvet
The summer layer of this 4-season duvet is filled with 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. This cotton duvet layer feels light and allows the skin to breathe, so heat and moisture are easily carried away.
This keeps the sleeping climate fresh and dry, even on warm nights. The organic cotton duvet is supple, soft and free from synthetic additives: pure comfort in its most natural form.

Frequently asked questions about duvets
No, a wool duvet does not itch. The wool fibre is inside the cover and never touches the skin directly. Furthermore, the sheep's wool is thoroughly washed and combed before processing, making the fibres soft and free of irritating substances.

A 4-season duvet consists of two separate duvets that can be fastened together: a light summer section and a warmer autumn/spring section. Together they form a thick winter duvet. The Tuur® 4-season Duvet is filled with GOTS-certified organic sheep's wool and has an organic cotton cover.
• Summer: use only the thin section (light and cooling, ideal for warm nights)
• Spring/autumn: use the thicker section for a cosy feeling during cooler nights
• Winter: fasten both sections together for maximum warmth, the Tuur® Duvet Cover fits over both sections
Wool is naturally self-cleaning thanks to the lanolin - you therefore barely need to wash the Tuur® Duvet. Regular airing is sufficient in most cases and significantly extends the lifespan.
• Airing: hang the duvet outside for a few hours on a cloudy day, moisture and odours disappear naturally
• Washing: if necessary, use a wool wash programme at 40°C or have it professionally dry-cleaned
• Always use a Tuur® Duvet Cover to protect the duvet and extend washing intervals

Yes, a wool duvet is surprisingly comfortable in summer. Wool ventilates excellently and absorbs moisture quickly, so you never sleep damp or too hot. The Tuur® 4-season Duvet has a separate summer section specially designed for warm nights.
