An elegant design
Thanks to its floating design, about 2 cm above the floor, the headboard of the box spring 180x210 looks lighter and less bulky. The headboard is upholstered in the same fabric as the boxes.

A box spring 180x210 seems like a simple purchase, but there are a few pitfalls many buyers only discover afterwards. These are the most common mistakes, and how to avoid them.
The right size for your bedroom
A box spring 180x210 is our most spacious size, combining 90cm of width per person with 10cm of extra length. Ideal for couples who want maximum room to move, or when one or both partners are tall and need more legroom. Measure your room beforehand: allow at least 60 cm of free space around the bed, and make sure your room is long and wide enough to comfortably fit this size.
Material and finish
Not every box spring in this size is built the same way. Pay attention to the frame (solid wood versus chipboard), the type of springing (Bonnell, pocket, or a slatted base in the box) and the quality of the upholstery. The Tuur® Box Spring 180x210 has an inner frame of PEFC-certified pine wood.
Combining with a mattress
You rarely buy a box spring on its own. Choose a mattress that matches your sleeping position and firmness preference, any Tuur® mattress works with this box spring, and check that the mattress size matches your box spring 180x210 exactly. Headboard: height 105cm, width 200cm, thickness 5cm (floats 3.5cm above the floor). 2 boxes: height 18cm, width 90cm, length 210cm. 8 legs: height 12cm.
All Tuur® mattresses are compatible with this box spring, including the Original, Original Plus, Spring, and Pure, as long as you choose the 180x210 size. Whichever you choose, make sure the size of the mattress matches that of the box.
Plan for a minimum room width of about 240 to 260cm and a room length of at least 270cm, so you can move comfortably along both sides and the foot of the bed. The box spring itself is 200cm wide (headboard), and the box has a length of 210cm.
The Tuur® box spring is delivered in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. In Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, it's delivered to your home for free and fully assembled in the room of your choice, up to the third floor (or higher with a lift). In Germany, it's delivered to your door only, without in-room assembly. If you also bought a Tuur® mattress, let it rest for 6 hours before use.
