FAQ
We recommend rotating your mattress head-to-foot 4 times a year. This helps to ensure a longer lifespan of your mattress.
We recommend not rolling up and storing the topper. Natural latex may start to tear after as little as 2 weeks, and the quality will significantly decrease.
The covers of our mattresses are not machine washable due to the use of sheep’s wool. We recommend taking the cover to the dry cleaner at least once a year.
The covers of our toppers and pillows are machine washable. You can easily wash them on a 30°C program. Please ensure the cover is completely dry before putting it back on your Tuur® product. If the cover is still damp or wet, it may damage the latex core.
Care tips for mattresses
Follow these simple guidelines to maintain a fresh and hygienic sleeping surface:
- Air out your mattress regularly
Remove the bedding every morning for about 30 minutes to allow moisture to evaporate. - Rotate your mattress seasonally
Do you have a double-sided mattress? Then turn it four times a year (head ↔ foot). - Use a mattress protector
This extends the mattress lifespan and protects against perspiration and dust mites. - Never let your mattress get wet
Avoid damp rooms and place the mattress on a well-ventilated bed base.
Care tips for latex toppers
Our recommendations:
- Air out your topper daily
Open or remove your duvet each morning to allow your topper to breathe and release moisture. - Rotate your topper regularly
With the Tuur® Original Topper, you can choose between the massage side or the flat side. Alternate sides and also rotate head to foot regularly. - Use a mattress protector
This helps prevent stains and wear, and keeps the cover fresh for longer. - Wash the cover at 30°C
The removable cover is machine washable. Use a mild, natural detergent and avoid fabric softeners to preserve the breathable properties of the natural fibres.
