260x220 is a generous size for lits-jumeaux bedding, suitable for extra-wide beds or if you like plenty of room. Always check the dimensions of your duvet.
A 260x220 duvet cover is designed for beds wider than 180 cm, also known as lits-jumeaux XL. For a standard lits-jumeaux bed 160 to 180 cm wide, a 240x220 duvet cover is sufficient.
For this double size, you receive 2 pillowcases of 65x65 cm as standard. That gives you a complete set right away for a double bed.
The difference is in the width: 260x220 is 20 cm wider than 240x220. Choose 260x220 if your bed is wider than 180 cm, or simply if you want extra overhang and room to move under your duvet.
The extra centimeters in length act as a tuck-in margin, so the cover still fits neatly and snugly even with a 200 cm duvet. This prevents the duvet from shifting around inside the cover.
