Buying a 140x200 mattress? What you need to know
A 140x200 mattress is the small double size: 140 cm wide and 200 cm long, giving 2.8 m² of sleeping space. For one person it is a generous bed where you can turn and stretch freely. For two people it gives 70 cm each, 10 cm less than a 160x200 mattress. That works for couples who like to sleep close together or have a compact bedroom.
Are you taller than about 1.85 m? Then 140x210 is the better choice: that length is available in all our models.

Delivery and installation of your 140x200 mattress
Your 140x200 mattress arrives in a box of 110x45x45 cm. In the Benelux we install it for you in the room of your choice, so stairs and door widths are no problem. Outside the Benelux the mattress is delivered to your front door. Measure the inner dimensions of your bed frame or boxspring beforehand: they must be 140x200 cm (or 140x210 cm for the longer mattress). A Tuur® mattress fits our boxspring 140x200.
One 140x200 mattress or two 70x200 mattresses?
Do you each want your own comfort? Then you can also choose two 70x200 mattresses. That size is not a standard size in all models: for Tuur® Pure and Tuur® Spring we produce 70x200 on request, without a sleep trial. One 140x200 mattress gives you one continuous sleeping surface without a gap in the middle and comes with a 120-night sleep trial.
For bedding, choose a fitted sheet of 140x200 cm that matches your mattress height. As a duvet we recommend 240x220 cm.
