It's a practical choice for bedrooms where both width and length are a priority.
What makes a good mattress 160x220?

Frequently asked questions about mattress 160x220
A 160x220 cm mattress is a wide double size with extra length, suitable for couples where one or both partners are taller than 190 cm. The 160 cm width gives each sleeper 80 cm of personal space. With a length of 220 cm, tall sleepers rest their feet and legs fully on the mattress, which benefits back and neck support. You will need a bed frame or bed base of at least 160x220 cm.
Yes, because 160x220 is a long size. Choose a fitted sheet of 160x220 cm, or a stretch fitted sheet that is explicitly suitable for a length of 220 cm. A 240x220 cm duvet fits well. If you each want your own duvet, choose two duvets of 140x220 cm. A Tuur® mattress protector and topper are also available in 160x220 cm.
Yes. With a width of 160 cm each sleeper has 80 cm of personal space, the same as on a 160x200 mattress. The extra 20 cm is in the length, not the width. If you want more shoulder room, a wider mattress such as 180 cm is a better alternative. You choose the model that suits you: Pure, Spring, Original or Original Plus.
Yes. You sleep on your Tuur® 160x220 cm mattress for 120 nights on trial. Shipping is free and you get a 10-year guarantee. You choose between Pure (cold foam), Spring (pocket spring), Original and Original Plus (natural latex).
A 160x220 cm mattress is 10 cm longer than a 160x210 cm mattress and 20 cm longer than the standard 160x200 queen size. The width is the same for all three: 160 cm. With 160x220 there is plenty of room to stretch out. The Tuur® boxspring is available in 160x210 cm, not in 160x220 cm.
