Quality, Sustainability and Natural Origin

At Tuur®, three principles are central to every product we develop:

  • Quality
  • Sustainability
  • Natural origin

When we started developing our very first mattress: the Tuur® Original Mattress, we quickly discovered that natural latex was the ideal foundation.

This material ticks all the boxes: it is of high quality, sustainable, and of natural origin.

How are the mattresses recycled?

At Tuur®, we believe in circular thinking. That’s why returned products are always given a new purpose. Thanks to the use of natural materials, our products are easy to recycle in various ways:

  • Reuse through partners

Products that are still in good condition are offered to hotel partners and associations. In doing so, we extend their lifespan and avoid unnecessary waste.

  • Recyclable cores

Our mattresses are made with a mono core. Since it consists of only one type of material, there’s no need to separate the layers. The core can easily be transformed into yoga mats or insulation material for the construction industry.

  • Cover with a second life

The removable mattress cover is recycled into felt after use, which is then reused in production.

Local & renewable

Short suppy chain

Tuur® works with various partners across Europe. For example, our latex comes from Belgium and our mattress cover from the Netherlands. This significantly reduces our CO₂ emissions, as the materials do not have to travel long distances.

Solar energy

80% of our production runs on our own solar energy. We have installed more than 1,000 solar panels on our factory roof.

Innovative Technology

We believe in progress. By investing in the latest technologies, we ensure that every product we offer is innovative and of the highest quality.

1. Product quality and delivery

All our mattresses, toppers, pillows, box springs, and love bridges are made in our own Belgian factory. This allows us to control the production chain from A to Z and know exactly what ends up with you as a customer.

Our bedding is produced by small manufacturers in Belgium and Spain, with whom we have been collaborating for years, and is shipped from our own warehouse, allowing us to perform a final quality check on these products as well.

To ensure you can enjoy your order as quickly as possible, we deliver your products in many cases the very next day. The current delivery time is always indicated in the shopping cart. Mattresses and boxsprings are even delivered with free installation and the optional take-back of your old mattress or boxspring.

Our donations are used to preserve the sloth's habitat in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest. Wilderness International purchases land in this area to prevent it from being cleared for agricultural purposes, helping to preserve biodiversity and reduce the effects of deforestation.

We donate 1% of our revenue to Natuurpunt, an organization dedicated to protecting nature in Belgium. Natuurpunt works on the conservation of natural areas and the promotion of biodiversity. Through our contribution, we support their important work and play our part in creating a greener future.

Smart and sustainable delivery from Belgium

Local shipping

All orders are shipped directly from our warehouse in Belgium. This helps us avoid unnecessary long-distance transport and keeps CO₂ emissions low.

1 pickup per day with PostNL

Instead of multiple trips per day, Tuur® schedules only one daily pickup with PostNL. This reduces the number of transport movements and contributes to a more sustainable shipping process.

Delivery by appointment

For large deliveries such as mattresses and beds, we only schedule delivery once you have selected a date. This way, we avoid unnecessary trips and failed delivery attempts: better for the environment and your peace of mind.

Optional recycling service

For a small additional fee, we take back your old mattress. It is then professionally processed so that materials like latex or textiles can be given a new purpose within the circular economy.

Conscious choices. Proven purity.
