GOTS – Global Organic Textile Standard (textile)
The textile is GOTS-certified, ensuring that the organic cotton originates from certified organic farming and that the entire production chain complies with strict environmental and social criteria.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 – Class I (textile)
The textile is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Class I and tested for harmful substances, making it suitable for direct and prolonged skin contact, including for babies.
Wash your fitted sheet every 1 to 2 weeks. You sleep directly on it for 6 to 8 hours every night, shedding perspiration, skin cells and body oils that settle in the fabric and form a breeding ground for house dust mites.
• 40°C: sufficient for weekly maintenance under normal use
• 60°C: for allergies or illness - kills house dust mites and bacteria effectively
• Also use a Tuur® Mattress Protector, so you barely ever need to clean the mattress itself
An organic cotton fitted sheet is grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilisers, certified by GOTS, making it safer for skin, health and the environment. The Tuur® Fitted Sheet is woven in percale, the most breathable and durable cotton weave technique.

Wash a cotton fitted sheet at 40°C for daily maintenance, or at 60°C for thorough cleaning during allergies or after illness. The Tuur® Fitted Sheet in organic percale cotton is specially tested for regular washing without shrinking or colour loss.
• 40°C: standard weekly wash; sufficient for a fresh and hygienic bed
• 60°C: intensive cleaning; kills house dust mites and bacteria effectively
• Avoid 90°C: organic cotton shrinks and loses its softness at too high temperatures
Percale and sateen are two different weave structures of cotton with a distinctly different feel. Percale is fresh, firm and breathable - ideal for warm sleepers. Sateen is softer and shinier but less breathable. The Tuur® Fitted Sheet is woven in percale for optimal ventilation and durability.
• Percale: tight cross weave = cool, firm, long-lasting and easy to care for
• Sateen: diagonal weave = softer and glossy feel, but warmer and less durable
